My daughter and her friends can't get enough of this tea set. It's porcelain/ceramic and it just feels more grown-up than the plastic. It's very hard to find one that is a bigger size (most are mini) and that can be washed in the dishwaser. It also has both the sugar and cream dishes. Around the holiday, Target sold the same set that was pockadot and had 4 spoons included, from the same company. May you have many happy tea parties!

Beautiful tea set. However; this set is not younger kids (5 -8 yrs). Bought it for a 6 almost 7 yr old. Unfortunately she dropped the kettle, it broke, and she was seriously injured (cut). Unless tea parties are closely supervised by an adult, I do not recommend this set.
